Magic Weekend at Verbeke Foundation amongst all the life ...

18th until 28th of May 2026

Thu May 28 2026, 9:48:22 pm CET Here we are on the 28th of May 2026, and 10 days since the last post, and I have to admit that I have been a bit lazy in writing posts during the last week. I have been busy with ...well, life came in between as per usual. A lot of activities and events have been happening, and I have been trying to keep up with everything. I am currently writing thing from my garden, enjoying the nice evening, the sun has just set, the birds have stopped singing and I am just enjoying the moment with a nice beer. I know it is not even weekend and here I am enjoying a beer. Well, let's just say that I am celebrating the fact that I have finally ordered a new keyboard. Huh, you might think, but for me it is a big deal, I have been scouting around for a new keyboard for a while now, and to be honest, I am a bit of a keyboard enthusiast (= fanatic).

We as family spent the most magic weekend together, we went to Verbeke Foundation in Belgium (currently in pending world heritage status), which is a magical place, with a lot of art and nature. We had dinners together in the garden, went golfing (magic time with my son), birthday celebration (for my mother in law), art exhibition (my father in law), cabaret show (by one of my masonic friends) and we did our own things, but still together, if that make sense.

Another very important thing that is occupying my mind is the next trip to Sweden, which is planned for the middle of June already. It is just going too fast. A lot need to be coordinated at work, at home and of course with my family in Sweden.

OK, I think that will be it for this time. I will do the postprocess stuff and release this already. When I am done, I think H. will arrive and we might just have a nice evening together.

Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day. Thu 28 May 2026, 5:43:14 pm CET Did you know that today in 1588 is when the Spanish Armada Read more about it on Wikipedia., with 130 ships and 30,000 men, sets sail from Lisbon, Portugal, heading for the English Channel.
