17th until 23rd of Jan 2025 Tue 21 Jan 2025, 7:20:42 pm CET OK, what happened since last time? I mentioned that there was a peace deal between Hamas and Israel, then there was the upcoming Trump inauguration (with the Hitler greeting by Musk. I am personally convinced it was not meant as such, but on that level how can you be so oblivious) in US. The peace deal in the Gaza was broken (again) by Netanyahu which was not a great surprise to most of the educated world. Not a very positive start to this post, I am afraid...But it reflects the situation in the world at the moment. In parallel to these events, Putin must be silently observing the events hoping everyone are distracted... Thu Jan 23 2025, 1:03:40 pm CET The previous entry was written two days ago, then life came in between. I got sick, yesterday morning (around 02:00) I started feeling something was cooking. Then yesterday in the day I started to do what one can do against painful joints, a head full of snot and sore throat. Today, after a terrible night, I feel that it moved down in my chest. It feels like the peak is today, at least I hope it turn for the better now... I am sporadically jumping in some calls and doing limited amount of working today. This morning was really a challenge to keep the call constructive. Some minor things I can still do, but I feel that the span of concentration is drastically limited. Some interesting small projects and interesting things I "stumbled across" are things like the Oracle Cloud, Free Tier (especially the compute AMD or ARM Always Free instances). I have added a bookmark to it as it is certainly interesting to check it out and compare to AWS and Google products. Another interesting project that is occupying my mind is creating a new website and developing the design for a friend who is starting up his new business. There are also some other things on the horizon that I am not able to share any details just yet. Tomorrow J is leaving for Cyprus again to visit his K. Then, after a week, they are both returning back home to Belgium as K's internship ends then. I am sure she is looking forward to come back, another change for them though, back to a new normal. So, tomorrow awaits a drive with J to the airport in Eindhoven. Should be smooth, I really like that little airport. Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day.
