Weekend Wonderland

15th until 18th of Oct 2024

Fri Oct 18 2024, 11:56:44 pm CET It was a perfect ending of an insanely busy work week, a busy but in a positive and creative way. I was lucky that I managed to schedule some of the late request for calls to next week, it was more than enough as how it was already planned.

We had a fantastic evening as a family, just before J. went out to meet with friends (they were meeting up at the field-hockey field here in Brasschaat as the local girl team had a game and their friend is the coach...) we ordered food home from one of our favourite place and could enjoyed it with a movie night. We are currently watching Dune part two, we are watching it as a mini series. It's a fantastic movie and it was just like when J. was a younger. It is such a treat being able to still have these moments together.

I actually have super interesting news, remember I wrote about the 3D printer that I ordered? Well, it arrived! It freaking arrived already!!! AND, like the cherry on the came, it arrived at the same time with another order, namely the garage shelving that I ordered to arrange my little 3D printing corner (but not only the little corner, the plans extended further out in the garage. More to come about that for sure). I can not believe that they both arrived at the same time. Like it was meant to be, a match in heaven...Absolutely super exciting! I have basically just started unboxing Qidi Q1 Pro, unbox, 3D printingUnboxing my Qidi Q1 Pro 3D printer. It looks really promising! it, I will not have time to even start it up just yet.

OK, J. just arrived home, just a couple of minutes before a new day, while I was busy taking the picture of the mounted garage shelving (it will be for posting on this very website. I wanted to have a picture before it goes to its final place. You will see it soon enough) that I started mounted earlier this evening. Well, now it is time to go to, I will have to start getting the 3D printer corner in order before I can try the new printer out...

Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day. Fri 18 Oct 2024, 9:27:02 pm CET Did you know that today 1851 is when Herman Melville's Moby-Dick Read more about it on Wikipedia. is first published as The Whale by Richard Bentley of London.
