12 Days Whirlwind: New Projects, Adventures, and Time off...

4th until 16th of Feb 2025

Sun Feb 16 2025, 2:06:16 pm CET 12 days!? Has it really been that long time since I last posted something here... Absolutely crazy. It is not completely true to be honest. I did some updates like adding new bookmarks and worked on some nice back-end features and solutions.

No, most of the time went to work on other projects. I am creating - setting up and designing - a new website for someone who is starting up his own business. I bought the domain, set up a professional email presence, helped with the logo and design and created the website and did some technical solutioning. Very interesting stuff, I will share more details when I can. On a high lever, I can mention that I work in the Hugo framework (with a new theme) and the services from Cloudflare.

The last time has been somewhat chaotic and difficult to plan. But that is the new normal and, on a personal level at least, I am not complaining. At times I really enjoy it since we are still involved in our son's life and his plans. We can only enjoy it as long as it lasts. Next week will also be a period out of the ordinary, I will be out of office for a week. I had some holidays I carried over from last year that need to be utilized before the first quarter.

Other things happened also, feels almost like a year ago if I scroll through the pictures I took the last 10 days. We went to a spectacular music-/light show in Antwerp, I went on a guided tour to the brewery/distillery in Mechelen called Het Anker We enjoyed the guided tour and a lunch here very much! with my godson, we went out to 'Wolf food market' This time I enjoyed a great Curry, proper Indian comfort food. in Antwerp with J and K and then....we celebrated Valentine of course.

I think that will be it for now.

Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day. Sun 16 Feb 2025, 12:15:41 pm CET Did you know that today in 1899 is when Iceland's first football club, Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur Read more about it on Wikipedia., is founded.
