29th of July until 9th of Aug 2026 Wed Aug 5 2026, 9:06:15 pm CET We are about a week into August, and I have been busy with work and other things. The "other things" also involves some nice things, like planing our next trip to Sweden. We are going to spend a week driving to Sweden to visit family and friends. It will be tight with time, the priority is however family. Sun Aug 9 2026, 6:56:09 pm CET The post above was written a couple of days ago, but I never got around to publish it. I have been busy with work and other things. Yes, finalizing the trip to Sweden was one of the things. In fact, today was the last hotel booking done for the trip done. Everything is now booked and we are ready to go. First night will be in Denmark, then there is a long drive all the way up through Sweden north bound to Mellanfjärden close to my parents. I have found an interesting Airbnb with really nice reviews, and I am looking forward to the stay there. Then the next location will be in the area of Nynäshamn. A place right at the coast, and we have found a really nice Airbnb there as well. The idea is to have a couple of days there to relax and enjoy the sea. Hopefully the weather will be nice. Then finally I have booked a place near something special, we took the chance to book a place - yes another Airbnb - close to the High chaparall themed amusement park Read more about it here. I am really impressed by the great website they have..., a place that we have visited before and a special place for J as a kid. It was something we visited every year when J was young. In recent years we have always said that one day we will go back there, and now we have booked a place close to it to be able to visit it again. If I think about it, it could be 10 years ago since we last visited High Chaparall. How funny would it be if we celebrate 10 years since our last visit. It means that he was around 11 years old when we last visited. Oh, the memories and the fun times we had there - I could write a book about it... Then we will drive back down south through Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland and back finally to Belgium and home to our own beds. It will certainly be an interesting 5000-kilometer trip on multiple levels with the EV car My Polestar 4 - long range, dual engine business edition. Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day.
