1st until 9th of Apr 2026 Thu Apr 9 2026, 7:17:08 pm CET It's been about a week since I last posted, but boy do I have a lot to share with you! It's been a whirlwind of things going on - work, family, and of course, everything in between. There is always something going on at work, and it's been keeping me busy with interesting projects and challenges. Most of it I can not share with you here. Obviously. So, let's leave it at that. So, while J and K are on their Thailand trip which we are monitoring with the limited information we get (which I absolutely understand, I can only relate to my youthful travels), but that is absolutely something that we follow and try to facilitate (the planning skills of the youth make it that he has to do some work for school during his holiday... and he had to bring his laptop...). But most of all, I wish that they have the time of their life. I can relate to that as well (contemplating of my time driving through Australia for months living out of a car with my friend J). Memories and lessons for life! Yesterday I was really enjoying the garden. After all the work we did in the garden, it is really nice to just sit there and enjoy the fruits We planted this little apple tree called Maypole apple tree. Hopefully it will enjoy its place. of our labor. I am really looking forward to the summer and all the things we can do in the garden. So, I decided to take a beer out in the garden and just enjoy the evening. It was really nice to just sit there and enjoy the moment. The sun, the birds, the flowers, and the beer Waterloo is a very nice tripple blond beer. It is even more enjoyable outside in the garden and in the sun.... It was a perfect evening. Cheers to that! We have some new garden projects marinating in our head. The idea is to have a Pizza oven installed in the garden, somewhere at the back of the garden close to the sitting area there. There are two main ideas - a garden table with an Ooni pizza oven or a proper Pizza oven creation. We are still in planning phase, but we are really looking forward to that project. Today we had the window washer Y over to properly clean the veranda roof and windows. He did a great job with heated osmosis water and proper products. We - as mostly my wife H - did it last year in half a day and he did it in an hour. That is what you get hiring a specialist (and he is really good). There are still some small things that we need to finalize, but overall it was a good result. Tonight we are preparing tuna steaks with vegetables for dinner. I am really looking forward to that as I am a huge fan of tuna steaks... OK, I will post this now and go and enjoy my Thursday evening. I hope you have a great evening as well! Cheers!
