29th of Apr until 4th of May 2026 Mon 4 May 2026, 7:57:44 pm CET OK, we are in the month of may, this is the first update in may, and it is already the 4th of may. A lot happened (you never heard that before, right?) but it's been a lot at work and foremost on the private side. Since last update, our beloved ex neighbour ladies had some not so nice developments in their lives, which is sad, but it turned out for the better in the end, so that is good. We could help out a little bit and support them. Then there was a birthday celebration on Friday, later in the evening it was a fantastic ending of the day and perfect ending of the busy week together with J and K - the youths. Saturday was a busy and strange day for H. - she had to go to Brussels to meet up with friend J, and it was a very dramatic travel to Brussels by train. It took her 4 hours to get there due to a train accident - someone decided to jump in front of the train and got hit by the train which travelled at 160 km/h. You can imagine the clean-up effort and the trauma for the train driver and the passengers. They all had to get off the train and wait for a replacement coaches to get to Brussels. Sunday was a little bit more relaxed, meeting up with our dear friends A. and P. in the Netherlands, and we had a nice afternoon together. We had a very nice little coffee and cake together in the very nice little village of Woudrichem I can really recommend it! This is a very picturesque village with canalboats and nice atmosphere..
