3 of Sep 2024 Tue Sep 3 2024, 8:00:03 pm CET Today, well what can I say about today? A lot of things happening at the same time, in parallel, that we can not fully control. An example; while there is an ongoing complicated conference call, is J. getting ready to leave for Knokke a couple of days. As a parent you want to be there for him, just be around and properly saying good bye when the time comes. Your children will always be your children, right? All of a sudden he was gone and I stalk him with the mobile phone. Just kidding, I am keeping it to a bare minimum in the hope of being the cool parent. As promised, my order got delivered today, the battery to my laptop and the 3D printing filament, all in one package. What a fantastic package, the battery fits perfectly (it's been running now most of the day and it is still on 46%) and the PLA+ 3D filament is looking like a very decent product. I am super happy - it brought me back a laptop. I can now use it how it is supposed to be used (and not have it constantly plugged in). I have also added to my arsenal of 3D printing filament which never can be too much. Another highlight of the day was a package (oh, another package got delivered), a package of photos from my youth and my family. H. is leaving early in the morning and I am up earlier as well. But I have a luxury morning compared with her. I can slowly enjoy the coffee, glance out in the garden, sipping coffee and carefully plan out the morning events. Well, this morning was special. I enjoyed the coffee going through old photos, contemplating over my childhoodand things from the past. It was really the highlight of the week, and it will be for days more. Anyway, the master plan that I have with mum is to digitalize as many photos as possible. It will really be a journey along the path of life (I hope it translates well in all languages)... It was magic! OK, now we will have dinner, enjoy a movie (Everything Everywhere All at Once Rread more about it on IMDB.
